Shipping & Production Policy

The Forge Formula: Estimated Arrival (ETA) = Production Time + Approval/Modify Time + Shipping Time

Because our figurines are 100% handmade and personalized, we prioritize quality over speed. Only items that pass our rigorous 3D quality inspection are sent out.

Production Timelines

Production begins once your artwork is submitted and the initial quote/design is confirmed.

  • Original Character (OC) Figurines:

    • DIY Kit: 7–12 Business Days

    • Masterpiece (Painted): Up to 20 Business Days

  • Kids’ Drawing Figurines:

    • DIY Kit: 7–10 Business Days

    • Painted: Up to 14 Business Days

International Shipping & Customs

We proudly ship our custom relics worldwide from our Sheffield, UK studio.

  • United Kingdom: Free Tracked Shipping exclusively for our fully painted 'OC to Figurine' Masterpieces.

Raw, unpainted DIY kits are calculated dynamically by weight at checkout.

  • United States & Australia: Free International Tracked Shipping exclusively for our fully painted 'OC to Figurine' Masterpieces. Raw, unpainted DIY kits are calculated dynamically by weight at checkout.

  • European Union: Our shipping process is fully GPSR compliant and registered to meet strict European safety standards, ensuring an optimized framework for customs processing.

Shipping, VAT & International Customs

Taxes, duties, and customs clearances are handled based entirely on your physical location and local cross-border regulations.

**Transparency Note: Any VAT, import duties, or customs fees are mandatory taxes required by your own country’s government. We do not retain any portion of these fees; they are assessed, collected, and managed entirely by your local tax and border authorities.

**OstanesKids does not guarantee customs outcomes, nor are we liable for any sudden changes to international import laws, unexpected border audits, or local carrier clearance fees.**

All local VAT, processing tolls, and border taxes remain entirely the legal and financial responsibility of the buyer.

  • UK Customers: You are purchasing locally! There is no additional VAT to pay on your order. Please note that Free Shipping applies strictly to fully painted Masterpiece commissions; raw DIY configurations are subject to weight-based shipping fees calculated at checkout.

  • US & Australian Customers: At the time of writing, individual imports valued under $800 USD (USA) and $1,000 AUD (Australia) generally fall below local de minimis thresholds for standard customs duties.

However, final clearance assessments are at the sole discretion of your local border agency, and any unexpected fees generated remain your responsibility.

  • EU Customers (The €150 Threshold Rule): * Orders under €150 (DIY Kits): We are fully IOSS registered. Your local EU VAT is automatically calculated and collected at checkout to facilitate standard customs processing.

    • Orders over €150 (Premium Painted Masterpieces): European regulations state that premium imports over €150 cannot process through the standard online IOSS checkout loop. Therefore, we do not collect tax on these items at checkout. Your local customs authority will assess and collect your country's standard Import VAT and local carrier handling fees when the package arrives at your border.

  • 🌎 Rest of the World (Canada, etc.): Customers outside our primary delivery zones are fully responsible for checking and paying any import duties, local taxes, or customs clearance fees required by their own government upon arrival.

Tracking Your Order

You will receive a shipping confirmation and tracking number via email once your order is forged and ready.

  • Update Delay: Please allow 2–3 business days after receiving your tracking number for the first carrier update to appear in the system.

Damaged Products & The Unboxing Rule

You must record a video when opening your package. In the unfortunate event that a product arrives damaged, this video serves as our proof to file a claim with the shipping company.

  • With Video: Once the damage is confirmed (within 24 hours), we will offer a free-of-charge replacement.

  • Without Video: We cannot file a claim with the carrier. In these cases, a minimum production fee will be required to remake and reship your product.

Shipping Restrictions

  • We do not ship to APO/FPO addresses, college dorms, or P.O. Boxes for expedited orders.

  • We do not offer overnight shipping.

  • Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico may exceed standard delivery times.
